MADI BY MADI SCULPTURE PROJECT
One more self-aware than I might say that this project has been brewing for longer than I would like to admit. Since I discovered the mirror medium, I've been unable to take my mind off completing this project, and from what you can see, I've just about done it. After countless hours (and dollars) over about a month, I was able to showcase "Madi by Madi", a project that means something different to everyone. I hope it means something to you.
DESIGN PRINCIPLES COLLAGE POSTERS
For this project, I created 6 posters, each one representative of a specific design principle. I took photos of each component separately and then used photoshop to collage the elements in a way that adhered to the guidelines. From left to right, the design principles demonstrated are texture, contrast, rhythm, unity, biomorphic, and variety.

DESIGN A DAY CHALLENGE
While I can't say I followed the guidelines of this challenge exactly, I did make a feeble attempt over the summer of 2022 to make one design every day. I posted these designs on my @designoverbuttered Instagram account, where I was my main audience. Seeing my designs laid out one after another inspired me to keep going and to find new ways to incorporate my design learning into new graphics.
I DON'T CARE THAT YOU DON'T CARE SERIES
At some point after the design a day challenge took place, I began feeling the overwhelming urge to delete any record of my existence as a designer off the face of the earth, as I'm sure many other people do. I couldn't shake the feeling that no matter what I created, people just didn't give a shit. That my friends, is a creative's worst fear. In order to combat these feelings, I launched an initiative that pushes me to create and share (via instagram story) content just for the sake of doing so, regardless of if anyone cares about it or not.
